Hundreds of jobs are at risk at Cameron House Hotel in Loch Lomond following the fire that that devastated the hotel last month.
According to BBC reports, 300 roles are at risk out 450 jobs, including some 150 staff on zero hour contracts.
Staff were informed of the plans at a meeting yesterday (Thursday) following which there will be a consultation process.
Two guests died after fire broke out at the 132-bedroom, five-AA-star hotel overlooking Loch Lomond in West Dunbartonshire at around 6.50am on Monday 18 December, while 200 guests and staff were evacuated.
The building was said to have been “extensively damaged” just months after the completion of a £4m refurbishment project.
